D.C. officials have reached a deal to return the Radio One Inc. broadcasting company to the District, where it was founded more than 20 years ago before moving to Lanham in 1997.
The deal to construct a new complex, Broadcast Center One, with developers Four Points, Ellis Development Group and the Jarvis Co. includes $16 million in public financing, mostly in free rent for Radio One, the struggling network of radio stations targeted to black listeners, according to Neil Albert, deputy mayor for economic development… read more
