Musicians On Call Expands Team & Partnerships

    Roles will expand the reach of the leading provider of live music in hospitals

     Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments, announces the additions of key roles within its Programs, Fundraising and Corporate Partnership departments to further the organization’s mission of delivering the healing power of music.

    MOC welcomes Jenny Methling as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Cindy Gonzalez and Simba Woodard as Program Coordinators and Lia Okenkova as Grants Coordinator.

    Methling joins MOC as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships after most recently working for 615 Leverage + Strategy, where focused on brand partnerships and strategic artist marketing initiatives and oversaw projects with brands like Dunkin’, Anheuser-Busch, HEYDUDE, Six Flags, Crown Royal and more.

    Using her experience working with talent, management and labels will lead the vision and strategy of MOC’s Corporate Partnerships department and will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing high-level strategic partnerships with corporate partners to advance MOC’s mission and drive organizational .

    Gonzalez brings to Musicians On Call a passion for work in the nonprofit sector and a love for giving back to her . In her role will manage MOC’s bedside programs in and Philadelphia, recruiting and coordinating volunteers and serving as the liaison with local hospital partners.

    Woodard has worked as an educator, a teaching artist, and a DEI consultant, focusing on the use of individual and cultural experiences to achieve equity in all spaces. With Musicians On Call he will manage the organization’s national virtual and streaming programs.

    Okenkova is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with experience working within the arts nonprofit and corporate philanthropy sectors, particularly in corporate social responsibility, development, and education. As Grants Coordinator will oversee and execute grant applications and stewardship, as well as provide general support to the Fundraising Department.
