    IS RADIO ONE
What’s the likelihood that Radio One is trying to gain the support of the Republican National Committee? Very good according to writer and radio host Rob Redding Jr. Radio One has cancelled the shows of progressive talk show hosts on the XM channel according to sources in support of the allegations.

Alfred Liggins III, the company’s president and chief executive officer, allegedly met recently with RNC officials, according to two sources, who asked not to be identified.

The meeting happened just before XM 169 The Power, which is run by the Lanham-based company, cut the shows of black activist Mark Thompson and Ambrose Lane this past July 26.

“No meeting such as that occurred,” said Shannon Reeves, the RNC’s director of state and local development and chairman of its African American Leadership Council.
