iHeartMedia Boston’s 101.7 The Bull and NBC10 Boston announced today that “One Night Only” broadcast special raised over $38,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the leading children’s hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
“One Night Only” aired on Saturday, November 21 from 7pm – 8pm on NBC10 Boston and was simulcast on 101.7 The Bull, Portsmouth’s 95.3 The Bull and Springfield’s Kix 100.9. Hosted by 101.7 The Bull’s on-air personalities Colton Bradford, Amanda Jo and Jess the one-hour special featured performances by country artists Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Kelsea Ballerini, Jon Pardi, Maren Morris, Lauren Alaina and Jimmie Allen. Listeners were encourage to call in or make online donations to benefit St. Jude.
“I couldn’t be more proud of my talented friends who made this project a reality,” said Colton Bradford. “Being allowed the platforms of two powerhouse media organizations to create an uplifting and entertaining show for families across New England to enjoy safely from home, while benefitting and highlighting the kids, families and research being done at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is undoubtedly the peak of 2020 for all involved. We have much to be thankful for and celebrate this week.”
Since 2016, 101.7 The Bull, 95.3 The Bull and Kix 100.9 have combined the power of their signals to simulcast the “Country Cares for St. Jude’s Kids” radiothon reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners. For the past four year the radiothon raised over $1.5 million to benefit St. Jude. “One Night Only” continues the dedication these stations have for the cause.

Everyone’s involvement continues to ensure that no family will ever receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child fight the disease.”
