    Sybil Crum will relocate from Florida to

    Florida A&M University (FAMU) alumna Sybil Crum has been promoted to vice president, Disneyland Resort & Commercial Strategy.

    Crum will transition into her role on October 10 and will be relocating to Southern California in coming months, Disney said in announcing the promotion

    Crum is a 16-year Disney veteran. She has held a variety of level roles within Disney Club and Disney Destinations working in marketing strategy, distribution marketing and . She currently serves as director, Marketing Strategy based at Walt Disney World in Orlando. 

    In her role as a director, Crum was key in the successful launch of new resorts including Aulani, Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Lake Tower, and was instrumental in developing the marketing and strategy for Disney Dreamers Academy. She is known for her strong of people and teams, the company said.  

    Before joining Disney, Crum was a senior manager at for eight years. 

    A native of  West Palm Beach, Fla., Crum graduated from FAMU in 1994 with a bachelor’s in business economics. Two years later, earned a master’s degree in marketing and strategy from Purdue University. Crum credits her alma mater for much of her success.
