Chris Brownโs โNo Guidance,โ featuring Drake, ties the record for the most weeks at No. 1 on Billboardโs R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with a 23rd week in charge.
โGuidanceโ retains the top spot despite a steep 11% drop to 27.9 million in audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 19, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
With 23 terms at No. 1, Brown and Drake match the run of Miguelโs โAdornโ from 2012-13. Hereโs an updated look at the leaderboard for the songs with the longest reigns on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, dating to the chartโs debut in April 1992.

Notably, both โAdornโ and โNo Guidanceโ were released through the RCA label, giving the company claim to both record-holding titles.
Can โGuidanceโ maintain its standing and push โAdornโ off the podium? The collaboration is in a close race with two challengers, which are both gaining momentum. The weekโs runner-up title on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Mustardโs โBallin,โ featuring Roddy Ricch, rises from No. 3 with help from a 4% rise in the audience to 27.3 million in the tracking week, a difference of roughly 600,000 impressions from โGuidance.โ Ricchโs involvement is key, as nearly all the rapperโs current material has shown improvements since his song โThe Boxโ ignited on streaming platforms and darted to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it resides for a second week.
DaBaby, too, poses a threat to โGuidanceโ as the North Carolina nativeโs โBOPโ ascends 4-3 through an 11% gain to 26.2 million in the tracking week.
