Pepsi Announces Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

Capitol Music Group Names New Executive Vice President
Scott Greer has been named Executive Vice President of Capitol Music Group, it was announced today by CMG Chairman and CEO Steve Barnett, to whom Greer will report. In his new position, Greer will serve as a senior member of Barnett's executive team, along with CMG EVPs Michelle Jubelirer and Greg Thompson and CFO Geoff Harris, oversee the company's operations in New York and utilize his extensive and industry-renowned marketing expertise on key CMG artists and projects spanning the company's portfolio of labels, including Capitol, Virgin and Motown. Long-storied Motown Records has named Marc Byers as the new General Manager of Motown Records. In this newly-created position, Byers will work closely with label President Ethiopia Habtemariam to develop the label's business strategy and development.Bringing over two decades of industry experience, Byers was most recently the Founder and co-CEO of Rockstar Entertainment, and in his career has worked with Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jamie Foxx, and Chris Brown among others.Habtemariam said of Byers' addition:“We are excited to have Marc Byers join the Motown team! Marni Halpern Named Vice President of Pop Promotion, RED Associated Labels

Marni Halpern has been appointed Vice President, Pop Promotion, RED Associated Labels (RAL), it was announced today by Tom Carrabba, Executive Vice President/General Manager, RAL.In her new capacity, Marni will work Pop promotion in North America for RED Associated Labels (RAL), which provides a variety of label services to select Sony Music venture partners. Marni will be based out of the New York offices and will report to Tom.Tom Carrabba states, “RED Associated Labels will benefit greatly from Marni’s wealth of experience in the promotion arena. She is a consummate executive and well-known by her peers in the industry. We are fortunate to have her join our growing RAL family and I know she will be instrumental in establishing our nascent roster of artists.”Halpern comments, “I am so thrilled to be part of help building an incredible new label within Sony Music Entertainment, RED Associated Labels.
