Real stylists like Porsche Hensley, who has been braiding hair for over 10 years and owns Divine Innovation 615 in Nashville, are affected. Hensley reported instances where clients arrived for appointments, only to find out they were scammed.

Precautions to Avoid Scams

BBB advises not to pay for the service in full before the appointment. Visit the stylist’s location before booking. Verify the stylist’s work by searching for them online and including the word “scam” after their name. Ask for the stylist’s license number and verify it.

Despite the scams, stylists like Porsche Hensley remain undeterred and continue their work.

Celebrated DJ and producer, Carnage recently announced the line up to RARE Orlando 2017. Headliners include Travis Scott and Carnage with special guests Zhu, Lil Dicky, Super Duper Kyle, and Graves scheduled to perform at the musically pioneering festival. In tandem with AEG Presents, the event takes place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds and features two stages at the largest RARE event to date. Additional artists are slated to be announced and tickets are on sale now, exclusively via AXS.com.

In addition to the fusion of genres, RARE Orlando will feature high energy freestyle motocross shows with intense fire dancers, thrill rides and other exciting activations. Also new this year within RARE will be an exclusive sneaker convention presented by Solefest and Trophy Room. Solefest & Trophy Room will offer sneakerheads an opportunity to buy, sell and trade sneakers and limited-edition pairs will be raffled off and sold exclusively at RARE. Trophy Room is the brainchild store in Disney Springs owned by Marcus Jordan, son of basketball icon Michael Jordan.
