Talk about a flashback. I remember the students at Buff State would run to the dance floor like maniacs when this song came on in the early 80s. I loved the early 80s.  By the way, I went to Buff State with Shaila Simpson from WBLS and Thomas Lytel formerly of Def Jam, neither remembers me, can you believe that? Here is Shannon looking AMAZING at 54 along with WBLS PD Skip Dillard (WBLS and WLIB). Shannon is  still doing summersaults doo wops and flip flops at 54.
