SiriusXM and Audacy have reached an agreement that will bring 42 Audacy sports, news and talk stations from 29 U.S. markets to SiriusXM, expanding the satellite and streaming audio company’s lineup of local programming.

Under the agreement, 23 Audacy sports stations will become available to SiriusXM subscribers beginning September 1, 2026, ahead of the start of the football season. An additional 19 Audacy news and talk stations are expected to join SiriusXM later in the year.

The deal will give SiriusXM subscribers access to local sports programming from several major U.S. markets, adding hometown sports talk and analysis to the company’s existing lineup of live games, league channels, national sports programming and podcasts.

“SiriusXM is the essential audio home for sports fans, offering access to every team and game alongside an unmatched lineup of national sports talk, expert analysis, and the biggest voices in sports,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer.

Greenstein said the addition of Audacy stations will give SiriusXM listeners greater access to local personalities and programming connected to individual teams and markets.

Audacy operates sports stations in major markets across the United States, including stations serving each of Nielsen’s top 10 designated market areas.

“Audacy’s sports brands are deeply connected to the cities, teams and fan communities they serve, and being able to extend our reach nationally through SiriusXM is a natural fit,” said Kelli Turner, CEO and President of Audacy Inc.

For Audacy, the agreement expands the national distribution of programming that has traditionally been tied to individual local markets. For SiriusXM, it adds a larger selection of local sports, news and talk programming to a service historically built around nationally distributed satellite channels and, increasingly, app-based content.
