The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is hosting a webinar on recruitment strategies for television and radio stations to draw new sales and programming talent. The webinar, “Retooling Your Recruiting Strategy for 2023,” is an NAB members-only event and will take place on Wednesday, February 1 at 3 p.m. ET.

During the webinar, panelists will share and collaborate with attendees on best practices for broadcasters to recruit top-tier talent in a changing media landscape. Panelists will examine how other industries handle recruitment and what recent graduates expect when evaluating job prospects. At the conclusion of the panel discussion there will be an opportunity for attendees to network and discuss recruitment with peers.

The program will be hosted by NAB Vice President, Member Experience Bradford Caldwell, who will be joined by Michelle Duke, NAB chief diversity officer and president of the NAB Leadership Foundation. Kristin Russum, director of Organizational Strategy from TriNet will moderate the panel, comprised of:

  • Katherine Barnett, senior vice president, Human Resources, Hearst Television;

“Broadcasters across the country are looking for talented candidates to join their team and contribute to the powerful work local stations do in their communities every day,” said NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt. “This program is part of NAB’s ongoing efforts to help our members recruit, train and develop the next generation of broadcast leaders. We look forward to providing hiring managers with the tools and resources to attract job seekers and fill employment needs in 2023 and beyond.”
