    KFC’s Pride 360° Initiative: Empowering the African-American Community

    Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is excited to announce the launch of its second year of the Pride 360° community-based initiative. Designed to inspire the African-American community, this program emphasizes essential values such as Family, Tradition, Heritage, Community, and Individual Success. The initiative aims to engage consumers and local communities on a deeper emotional level, fostering connections that celebrate cultural significance and shared experiences.

    Expanded Scope of Events

    This year’s Pride 360° experience will see an expanded array of events and cultural initiatives that reflect KFC’s commitment to honoring the African-American community. Among the highlights are KFC Celebrates & Honors Black History Month, a tribute dedicated to recognizing significant contributions within the community. Additionally, the BET Honors Awards, featuring Dr. Sheryl Bissett-Chapman, will spotlight individuals who have made noteworthy impacts in various fields.

    Community Engagement Activities

    The Ultimate Family Reunion will serve as a platform for families to connect and celebrate their heritage together. Another exciting addition is KFC HITMAKER, an initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing aspiring musical talent in the community. Furthermore, the Black College Expo will provide opportunities for students to explore educational possibilities and secure scholarships, strengthening the pathway to success.
