In 2001, DJ Ruckusโ radio journey started at Norfolk State Universityโs station WNSB, where his very first mixshow, โIn Da Zoneโ, became a Friday night staple in the Hampton Roads area. After becoming the go-to DJ for Hampton U, Va Union, and Elizabeth City Universities, Hot 91 named Ruckus โMixer Of The Yearโ in 2004. After graduating from NSU, Ruckus held a mixer position at WWHV Hot 102, but a move to Fayetteville, NC landed him a job working for WZFX, Foxy 99 as a mix show DJ on the Saturday Night Spin cycle from 8p-12a.
