Cameras In the Girls’ Bathroom Has a California Football Coach in Jail

Assistant Coach, David Riden has been arrested and is in hot water for allegedly placing cameras in the female student restaurant room at Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga was arrested

A staff member informed local authorities about the suspicious device, which was located in a student restroom at the school. Located at 6001 Milliken Ave., the school was searched by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department according to a statement released on Wednesday.

After a thorough investigation, detectives were able to gather enough evidence to arrest the 52-year-old assistant, Mr. Riden, who also served as the locker room attendant.

Riden, a Rancho Cucamonga resident was officially arrested with a charge of invasion of privacy after authorities searched his home and car, where they found several recording devices.

School Superintendent, Mathew Holton released a statement Thursday stating the School District’s position.

“We are deeply concerned about this disturbing incident and will not tolerate actions that infringe on the privacy of others… We have committed to do all we can to provide support and counseling for our students during this time. ”

David Riden, who has been with the school since 2015 has not been convicted of any charge yet, but it is not looking good as the authorities continue their investigation. According to Holton, the assistant coach for the boys’ varsity football program was ironically caught on camera, which was a key piece of evidence that help the authorities make the arrest.

It is not known at this time if Riden had any prior history regarding similar allegations, but he did resign from his previous position at his former high school.
