Radio Facts: I have not heard Micheal Baisden’s name or show mentioned in months until now. His show was just dropped by KDAY. I guess that’s not news since KDAY has dropped just about all of its syndicated shows but why have we not been hearing Baisden’s name lately? Out of all the syndicated shows, I realized Baisden is the only one that has no entertainment history. I know he wrote books so it would appear he would have to work harder than Harvey, Joyner and Smiley to keep his name in the loop. Perhaps a new book is in order? One thing I can say about Steve Harvey, he knows how to stretch that 15 minutes and he knows the value of brand ing and does the best job out of them all. In addition, there was a rumor that Tom Joyner sent a letter to stevie wonder pissed about not being picked over steve harvey for the morning slot. That rumor is not true. Also, I sincerely doubt that Stevie will be in the market for anymore syndicated shows. I’m sure he’s being bombarded nonetheless. The schedule of the station has not really changed much except Guy Black is gone and some of the staff has been reassigned. Surprisingly, the comments that have come in on kjlh have been more about former morning host Cliff Winston and /or welcoming steve harvey back.
No Need to listen to 92.3 anymore since Mike and Geaorge are gone except on Saturday nights for battle of the bands and great oldies
I hate steve harvey! I cannot stand his voice and his constant preaching, although he has done more than his share of dirt and sinning. I cannot stand listening to KJLH in the mornings, so I now listen to 94.7 in the morning. I only wonder why KJLH, Steavie Wonder, couldn’t pick up Micheal Baisden in the afternoons. Chicken? WTF????? Are we all so afraid to keep our own communities informed politicallly? WHY??????? This so reminds me of slavery, when Black people were not allowed to learn to read. It kept them UNINFORMED! Shame on you Mr. Wonder! I have always been a fan of yours, but my opinion of you just dropped a million points!
So, where is Michael Baisden & George Willborne? I did not hear anything about them being taken off the radio in Detroit! & I cannot find them? R they still on the radio @ all in Michigan?!!

Yea they were dropped in Detroit but they are on in 4 other cities in Mi, Saginaw, Flint, Grand Rapids and Muskigan. You can always listen to them over the internet…..
On Monday I was waitting to hear the MB radio sheo , but didn’t . Didn’t hear a thing about why . And now , he’s being accused of misuse of monies. I like MB , he talks about everything that others won’t ,PIMPS IN THE PULPIT , Realatinonships , and many more topics .
I hope this will be over soon , so that The MB Show can be put back on the air soon .

I’m not certain what is going on, but MB was the one thing I looked forward to hearing on my ride home from work to pick up the kids. 92.3 this is very bad business, what ever it takes to work this out needs to happen pronto!! No warning, no nothing,,,,,,,,of course I guess the station feels that they owe their listeners no explanations, just their shareholders (of whom would not even be interested, if not for the listeners!!!!). BAD, BAD Business 92,3 DETROIT!!! Until he returns it will be just me and my ipod filled with all the B-Side artist I was exposed to on the Micheal Baisden show!!!!!……….Did you not learn anything from our recent Automotive mishaps………….. Do the right thing!
I,m agree with you Frances. I can,t stand listening to Steve Harvey. He’s so full of himself. All he does is brag about himself and preach. Stopped listening to him after the third day.
