Multi-platinum, five-time GRAMMY-winning artist Christina Aguilera is making history on the virtual airwaves once again, as the singer prepares to debut brand new music from her highly anticipated album, Bionic, exclusively on her A.P.E. Radio station, “Christina Aguilera Radio.” On Friday, March 26 at noon EDT, listeners tuned into the station to preview a 15-second teaser of the album’s first single, the Polow Da Don-produced “Not Myself Tonight.” On Tuesday, March 30th at 5:00 pm EDT, Aguilera will present the worldwide premiere of the song in its entirety on her channel, a full hour before any other station plays it. The song will repeat throughout the hour, interspersed with other exciting new audio from Aguilera.

CA RADIO AIn addition to premiering “Not Myself Tonight” on March 30, “Christina Aguilera Radio” will begin airing numerous new audio segments from Aguilera, the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the “100 greatest singers of all time.” On air, Aguilera will discuss Bionic, the musical inspirations for the album, experiences as a mother, her charity work with the World Food Programme and more (direct links to these and other audio segments are included below).

Aguilera’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, Bionic (RCA Records), is due June 8th and features songs co-written by Aguilera along with her much buzzed-about collaborators including Sia, Tricky Stewart, Polow Da Don, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch, and Ladytron, among others. Aguilera notes, “Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience. The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do, combined with my own vision and sound. The results were magic.” The album also features a ballad produced and written by Linda Perry titled “Lift Me Up”. The title Bionic reflects Aguilera’s ability to take her range to new levels and use her voice in various ways never heard before. The debut single, “Not Myself Tonight,” is available for purchase on iTunes beginning April 13th.

In addition to completing the album, which was all recorded from her home studio after the birth of her first son, Christina also completed production on her first film, Burlesque. The film, which co-stars Cher, Stanley Tucci, and Kristen Bell, will be released by ScreenGems this fall.
