Paul Johnson was no stranger to adversity as he had been confined to a wheelchair since 2010. In 1987, Johnson was injured by a stray bullet and paralyzed from the waist down. After further health complications and a motor vehicle accident, he had one leg amputated in 2003, and the other in 2010. Even with all those complications Johnson still knew how to rock a party. He was mostly known for his world-renowned hit, 1999 single “Get Get Down”,

Paul was still doing his thing traveling for DJ gigs until he was hospitalized with COVID-19. Paul actually posted on his Instagram page about his battle with the highly infectious virus. His last is below. We send our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and fans across the globe.
