New Release: ‘Live At The Jazz CafĂ©, London: The Complete Show’
On March 25, Virgin/UMe plans to release ‘Live At The Jazz CafĂ©, London: The Complete Show’, featuring the full performance, on CD and digital formats. The new release returns to print the EP’s six cuts — issuing them in the U.S. for the first time, as well — and adds five more previously unreleased performances.
Unreleased Performances
The five unreleased performances include “Jonz In My Bones,” an extended version of “Lady,” including a reprise of the song left off the original EP, and covers of three songs originally by D’Angelo influences Mandrill, Ohio Players, and Al Green.
Featuring Angie Stone
Featured on background vocals is Angie Stone, a.k.a. Angie B., one of the seminal female rappers through her hit group The Sequence who would become a solo star in her own right.
