Arrest Details
Two Memphis women, Destiny Plumber and Erin Egan, have been arrested in Tupelo, Mississippi, on charges of human trafficking. A minor was rescued during the operation.
Background of Destiny Plumber
Destiny Plumber has a notable criminal background. She was previously involved in a South Memphis incident where her mother, Tamara Plumber, was shot and killed. In March, Destiny was charged with reckless endangerment related to this case. Despite these charges, was released on a $5,000 bond and subsequently found herself back in jail in Mississippi for human trafficking.

Tupelo Police conducted the investigation that led to the rescue of the minor and the arrest of Plumber and Egan at a motel. The Tupelo Chief of Police condemned the crime, emphasizing the department’s commitment to bringing offenders to justice and preventing future offenses.
