43 Year Old Man Charged in Soliciting Murder of Young Dolph (video)

A third man has now been charged with soliciting the murder of Young Dolph. Prosecutors did not want to release details of why Hernandez Govan, 43 ordered the murder but he is being charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

The rapper Young Dolph was killed a little more than a year ago after being ambushed while buying cookies at a local cookie shop in Memphis named Makeda’s cookies. He died at the scene. Authorities believe the planning of Dolph’s murder had been in the works for months. . Another man, Shundale Barnett, has been charged with accessory after the fact as well as Justin Johnson.
