Jen Scordo has moved from fill-in duty to a permanent midday position at Beasley Media Group’s 92.5 WXTU in Philadelphia, a personnel change that matters for station branding, audience continuity, and daypart stability in a major country radio market.
Scordo steps into WXTU’s weekday middays
Beasley Media Group named Scordo the new weekday midday host at 92.5 WXTU-FM in Philadelphia, and she began the role immediately. The announcement was made Friday morning during The Andie Summers Show.
Scordo takes over the slot after the departure of Mark “Razz” Radziewicz, WXTU’s longtime midday host and Program Director, who retired from the station in May.
A familiar Philadelphia radio voice
Scordo is a longtime Philadelphia broadcaster with more than 25 years of experience across the market. Her background includes work in promotions and engineering at Greater Media, middays at Townsquare Media’s Cat Country 107.3 in Atlantic City, and producer and on-air roles at Beasley’s 97.5 The Fanatic.
Her resume also includes fill-in work as an anchor for This Morning with Gordon Deal, plus on-air roles at WMMR, WMGK, and WXTU.
Management frames the move as a full-time fit
Beasley Media Group Philadelphia Market Manager Paul Blake said Scordo earned the opportunity through her talent, professionalism, and ability to connect with listeners. WXTU Program Director Chuck Damico said she has the work ethic, humor, and authenticity needed to make listeners feel like they are spending time with a friend.
Scordo said Philadelphia has been her home for the past 25 years and called the move into middays at WXTU a dream come true. She said she is grateful for the opportunity to spend middays with XTU Nation and looks forward to what is ahead.
