The Woody Show is a massively popular, highly interactive and socially engaging broadcast radio fan favorite. The show’s creator and host, Woody, is joined by co-hosts Greg Gory, Menace, Sebas, and now Gina Grad.  Woody is a 30-year radio veteran and brought his top-rated show to ALT 98.7 in April 2014.  Since 2019, they have steadily remained a Top 5 Nielsen-rated show in Los Angeles across all major demos.

Woody said, “Gina came highly recommended by many, including a radio hall of famer who will (and should) remain nameless…. ok, it was Mark Thompson (of Mark and Brian). I was already a fan of her work with Adam Carolla, and after meeting her when I was a guest on Adam’s show, I knew that she would be my first call if the opportunity ever presented itself. She’s a total pro and a perfect fit for The Woody Show.”

Grad is thrilled to be the newest addition to The Woody Show. She has been a prominent voice in Los Angeles radio since 2006, working on iconic stations like 97.1 FM (KLSX) with “The Tim Conway Jr. Show,” 100.3 FM The Sound co-hosting mornings with Mark Thomspon, and anchoring on KFI AM (640) where she is still the station’s female imaging voice.

Beyond her work on broadcast radio, Grad co-hosted “The Adam Carolla Show” for eight years, a podcast that earned the Guinness World Record for most downloaded podcast. Additionally, she is also a voiceover artist, best known for her work as “Rose” in the “Street Fighter” video game franchise, a regular guest on Fox LA’s “Good Day LA+,” and a stepparenting advocate and author of “My Extra Mom,” a book that is now part of the Library of Congress’ collection.

Grad said, “I absolutely cannot wait to join The Woody Show! The team’s shared sense of humor, raw unfiltered take on society, and unbelievable work ethic make me proud to be part of this group.  Woody is an absolute genius at what he does. I’m really excited to connect with listeners through questionable jokes, unapologetic opinions, and some truly insane stories from a lifetime of acting before thinking… I’m all in!”

“Gina brings an incredible wealth of talent and experience,” said Lisa Worden, Program Director for ALT 98.7 and SVP Rock and Alternative for iHeartMedia.  “Combine that with her really fun, no-holds-barred attitude, and poof — we’ve found our next star to join the already all-star cast of The Woody Show.  We’re all beyond excited to have Gina on board, ready to entertain LA and OC once again!”
