Andre Harrell has Died

He was 59. No further details have been given at this time. Harrell was planning a story detailing his tenure in the music industry. On May 3 his last Twitter post he tweeted a tribute to the late Heavy D. No word on what happened. Harrell was born September 26, 1960, in The Bronx, New York and was the founder of the successful Uptown Records. [...]

A powerful community that took years to build was destroyed in 24 hours in 1921 with a death toll of over 300 black men, women, and children. Some historians estimate it was in the thousands. Andrew Caldwell “I Not Gay no More” Guy, Attacked by Two Black men

Andrew Caldwell, the young black man who was the star of a viral video taped at the COGIC convention claiming "I'm not Gay no more, I have been Deliverd" was allegedly  the victim of a recent hate crime by two black men who he states jumped out of a car, beat him then yelled homophobic slurs at him while mocking the line "I'm not Gay no more!!!" Caldwell states the video has brought him unwanted attention and he is in fear of his life. He posted the photos of his bloody nose and mouth on his Facebook Page. [...]
