This year marks an important milestone in their journey, as Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) signs a global publishing agreement for the core INXS catalog. This agreement, which consolidates virtually all of INXS’s music under UMPG, also includes the rights of the group’s late lead singer, Michael Hutchence, for songs written on the band’s first four albums. As we remember the band’s phenomenal success, selling over 30 million records worldwide, we also look forward to innovative ways their music will continue to reach new audiences.

UMPG and INXS Collaborative Agreement

INXS band members with Universal Music Publishing Group Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has signed a global publishing agreement with INXS members Andrew Farriss (keyboards and guitar), Jon Farriss (drums), Kirk Pengilly (guitar, saxophone), Tim Farriss (guitar) and Garry Gary Beers (bass) for the core INXS catalog of music. The new agreement brings essentially all of INXS’s music to UMPG.
