Radio One/Detroit has tapped Al Payne as OM overseeing News/Talk WCHB-AM, Urban AC WDMK-FM and WHTD-FM. He replaces Skip Dillard on August 13, who left in March for PD duties at urban WPGC-FM/Washington, DC. Payne most recently served as OM of Radio One/Richmond, VA, and PD of Urban AC WKJS-FM. Before that he programmed KRNB-FM/Dallas.
