Fayetteville State University (FSU) will officiallywelcome Da’Vinchi, actor from All American Netflix Series on Monday, September14, 2020, at 8:00 p.m.

Sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, Broncos’Mute Monday is a film series that offers perspectives of historicalcircumstances, protesting decorum, and the voices of our multigenerational andmulticultural student body; where young people make their voices heard. Thiscampus-wide event is open to students, faculty, and staff as ourcommunity engages in a live chat that focuses on social and racial injustices.

On Monday, September 14th, Da’Vinchi will hosts theevening event as he discusses his personal views about specific historicalincidents that have ultimately impacted our journey towards justice.

Dialoguethat evokes one’s true feelings about issues such as freedom of speech,combating racial injustices, the etiquette of participating in demonstrations and ensuringour voice is heard will be discussed.

Dr. Janice Haynie, Vice Chancellor for StudentAffairs, initiated the call for programming that would strengthenstudents’ civic engagement and social responsibility.

As one of the six corecompetencies within the Division of Student Affairs; one goal is toencourage critical reflection and appropriately challenge unfair and unjustbehavior to benefit the welfare of society.

Da’Vinchi, born Abraham D. Juste, is a Haitian-Americanactor with a cool and magnetic charm.

Starting his career in New York City as aspoken word artist and rapper, he quickly transitioned into the world ofacting. Studying the craft under one of his most esteemed mentors, MarcJohn Jeffries, Da’Vinchi booked

.Da’Vinchi has proven to be a future prominent force in Hollywood playingalongside Ben Affleck in The Way Back, guest starring in the CW’spopular sports drama All American and signing to one of the topagencies in the business, APA, in just under two years.

Da’Vinchi also has apassion for philanthropy and plans to use his platform to help the youth findtheir purpose and identify their gifts.
