A little over two years ago, Warner Music Nashville (WMN), a branch of the globally recognized Warner Music Group (WMG), made significant changes to their leadership structure. Kevin Herring was appointed as Senior Vice President, Promotion, with Kristen Williams taking the reins as Vice President, Promotion. Since then, their accomplishments have been nothing short of noteworthy, leading to an impressive era of radio promotion for WMG’s country divisions. Leadership Changes at Warner Music Nashville

Reporting directly to Peter Strickland, Executive Vice President & General Manager, WMN, Herring took over all radio promotion for WMG’s country divisions, which include Atlantic, Elektra, and Warner Bros. He replaced Chris Stacey who left the company. Williams now reports to Herring.

Prior Experience and Achievements

Prior to WMN, Herring served as Vice President, Promotion, for EMI and spent 13 years as Vice President of Promotion for Disney’s Lyric Street Records. He began his career in radio at WWWW in Detroit, MI. Williams first joined Warner Music Nashville in 2003 as Manager, Secondary Promotion, and climbed the ranks to Regional Promotion Manager and, most recently, Director, National Promotion.
