Meanwhile, Obama inherited the task of having to spend most or his entire 4-year term cleaning up the mess the Bush Administration left behind. Is that an easy task? Absolutely not. Yet, many were not willing to give him a break.

Reports indicated that the economy was improving, with the banking, car, and real estate industries noting significant improvements. However, these advancements seemed to be overshadowed by Obama’s drive to correct our flawed healthcare system. The conservatives managed to convince some Americans that Obama’s plan would cover illegal immigrants and that it was designed to take benefits away from the elderly.
