The series, which premiered on October 8th, featured Golden Brooks, Countess Vaughn, Lisa Wu, Paula Jai Parker, and Elise Neal. The show not only entertained us but also shed light on the challenges Black actresses face in Hollywood, from typecasting to ageism, and the personal battles they endure off-screen. We’re revisiting this remarkable series to see how it resonates in today’s climate and how these ‘divas’ continue to inspire and captivate us.
