Wilson Wins by Posing as Black Candidate

Dave Wilson  narrowly won a seat, by 25 votes, on the Houston Community College Board of Trustees. Wilson has previously lost in the race for mayor in 2011. His campaign stategy to win the election for the Board of Trustees?

Pretend to be black in the African American dominated district. KHOU 11 News reported Friday. He printed misleading mail pieces where he lifted images (without permission) of African Americans off the internet and stated he was a “Friend” of the voters in the community.

Wilson is also anti gay and he sent out  thousands of mailers attacking an openly gay mayoral candidate, defeated 24-year incumbent Bruce Austin by just 26 votes.
