RadioFacts: United Stations, an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, announced today that the company has added KNOX COUNTRY 360 to its already extensive lineup of high-quality Country programming. The program, which has been on the air since June 2018, already airs on dozens of radio stations, and effective immediately, United Stations will handle the program’s affiliate marketing, distribution, and advertising sales. This announcement comes jointly from United Stations EVP/Programming, Andy Denmark, in New York, and Michael Knox in Nashville.
Knox Country 360 is a two-hour weekly program that presents an insider’s view of Nashville and Country Music. Michael Knox and co-host Shalacy Griffin welcome country’s most notable artists, songwriters, and producers into their studio giving listeners a rare peek into the inner-circle of the Nashville music scene and the stories behind their favorite music. Since Michael Knox has been deep into the country music scene for years, he has the ability to attract some of Nashville’s key players to join him for an in-studio chat. It’s a show that only Michael Knox could deliver, uniquely mixing trending new music with current hits, exclusive interviews, live performances, comedy, and the special insider stories that only come from someone who’s been there. The show is produced by network radio veteran Donny Walker who knows the right recipe for balancing talk and music to fit today’s contemporary Country radio stations.
Michael Knox, award-winning producer, is best known for his work with country superstar and ACM Artist of the Decade recipient Jason Aldean. As a producer, Knox has celebrated 24 number one hits, sales of over 45 Million singles, 20 million albums, multiple ACM Awards and a CMA Award. His production credits include artists Thomas Rhett, Trace Adkins, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Michael Tyler and Laine Hardy among others. Michael is the son of legendary singer/songwriter Buddy Knox (“Party Doll” fame 1957) and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of peermusic Nashville. He is joined on the show by co-host Shalacy Griffin who also serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Music Knox, LLC.
