Drake’s Support for Megan’s Attacker Out of Character

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show discussed Drake’s “diss” towards Megan Thee Stallion on his new album. Rock-T questioned whether the controversial lyrics were aimed at the “WAP” star. On a song called Circo Loco, Drake raps, “This chick lied about getting shot, but she still a stallion.” Drake continued, “shorty say she graduated; she ain’t learned enough.

Play your album track one, K I heard enough.”

Megan responded in a tweet: “I know I’m very popular, but y’all gotta stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name, lol. Stop using me for clout. Stop using my shooing for clout.

Since when is it cool to joke about a woman getting shot? You men are lame. Ready to boycott my shoes and clothes, but ready to dogpile on a Black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”

Rock-T said that Megan later added that the controversy did not happen until she came out and said she was shot.

Megan said that when the facts emerge, “remember, ya’ll favorite rappers that stood behind a man who shot a female.”

Rickey Smiley said Drake’s comments about the star were not “right.” The morning show hosts said the remarks were out of character for Drake and wondered how close the rapper was to Tory Lanez. The morning show was unsure if the two artists were sticking together because they were both from Canada. Although the show agreed, “we will find out.”
