The Breakfast Club discussed comedian Mo’Nique’s lawsuit with Netflix. Angela Yee said Netflix and Mo’Nique had reached a settlement in the discrimination lawsuit that cited race and gender biases. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both sides have moved to dismiss the suit, and the specific details have not been made public.
Angela Yee said that means they came to some sort of an agreement behind the scenes and dismissed the case.
Charlamagne Tha God asked whether there was any monetary settlement. Yee said she was unsure if any money was given in the settlement, but the case was dismissed.
According to The Washington Post, attorneys for Mo’Nique and Netflix filed for the case’s dismissal Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in Los Angeles.
