Syndication Hosts PAY fake Callers

Could it be? Rush Limbaugh seems to be adamant about discrediting a news story that he has hired actors to play callers for his show. Of course this would be an effort to garner attention and more callers and this concept has been used before. What’s even more interesting is the story indicates the service, Premier Radio On Call who’s motto is “voice talent to take/make your on-air calls, improvise your scenes or deliver your scripts. Using our simple online booking tool, specify the kind of voice you need, and we’ll get your the right person fast.” There’s no crime here but is this in poor taste? To add insult to injury, it’s reported by the story from the website, Tablet Mag, that the service is owned by radio syndication company Premiere Radio which is owned by iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel) Radio. While this would not be a crime and perhaps brilliant in the eyes of some marketers, could it also be classified as disingenuous? The more someone tries to deny something the more guilty they look. I would be hard pressed to believe ANYTHING Rush Limbaugh says. Here audio below… your thoughts?
