Shay Moore Joins the Morning Team at KPRS-FM

KPRS-FM/HOT 103 JAMZ in Kansas City names veteran Radio DJ, Shay Moore, as the new
morning co–host for the “A.M. Mayhem Morning Show” with John Blaze.
“We’re excited about Shay Moore joining our team at CBG. She has a great personality
on and off the air. Her experience in various markets along with John Blaze’s energy
and enthusiasm are a great combination for a winning morning show. Our audience will
connect with Shay Moore immediately,” says Myron Fears, Operations Manager.
“I am an unusually blessed person not only will I get to do what I love everyday on the
radio with an awesome talent and person in John Blaze. I get to join a staff of
individuals who love what they do just as much as I do and have been doing it well for
the past 65 years! I would like to thank Mr. Mike Carter, Rod Carter and Myron Fears
for recognizing the talent that I’ve developed through the years in Charlotte, Buffalo,
Dallas, Atlanta and New Orleans and allowing me the opportunity to display that on the
radio,” says Moore.
Shay Moore’s previous radio experience includes: WPEG AND WBAV -FM (Power
98/V 101.9)/Charlotte, WBLK/Buffalo/Niagara, NY, KSJM-FM/Wichita, KRNB AND
KKDA –FM/Dallas, WVEE-FM (V-103)/Atlanta and WQUE (Q 93)/New Orleans.
Carter Broadcast Group is celebrating 65 years of being the oldest African American
owned broadcasting company in the country and currently owns two Radio Stations in the
Kansas City area.
