Rickey Smiley gave the wisdom that was passed down to him by his grandfather in a recent video. Rickey’s grandfather Ernest Smiley passed at the age of 92.
Rickey said that there are a lot of people who won’t like you and that the people who do not like you are not good people. Rickey also said that if you’re a good person, most of the people who like you are going to be good people.
Rickey added that liars hate people they can’t lie to and manipulators hate people they can’t manipulate and users hate people they can’t use. Rickey said when this kind of person can’t get what they want from you, they start to label you and make it appear like something is wrong with you.
Rickey added that good people have a natural bond. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show host continued that he doesn’t have to try to get in with different people because he’s naturally a good person. He said that liars and manipulators go out of their way to get in good with someone.
Rickey advised people to see through the “bullshit” and said, “Don’t be fooled by these people.” Rickey also told people to pray and ask God to give them nothing else but the spirit of discernment.
He added that he can see someone and know what they are all about as soon as they start talking. Rickey says he’s always nice and respectful but once you set boundaries they will stop liking you because they can’t manipulate you, lie to you, and they can’t use you and if they can’t do anything they will label you.
Rickey also advised people to start hanging around men and women in their 60s and 70s because knowledge is power and they see right through things.
Rickey finished by thanking God for his grandfather who taught him, showing appreciation for his grandmother as well for having the spirit of discernment.
