In their revealing conversation Rev Al talks about race in America, his changing role as a civil rights activist, and what drives him to stand up for causes he believes in.

He also opens up about the moment that changed the course of his life, his dramatic weight loss and his new book, “The Rejected Stone,” out now. Later in the show, Rev. Reverend Al Sharpton is the President of the National Action Network. His new book, “The Rejected Stone,” is in stores now and intimately chronicles his personal evolution from street activist, pulpit provocateur and civil rights leader, to the larger-than-life man he is today. With the book Rev Al also provides a series of essential life lessons that readers can adopt to transform their own lives.

The Rejected Stone is published through a joint venture with Massenburg Media and Cash Money Content books, a division of Atria/Simon & Schuster.
