“RAIN: Radio And Internet Newsletter” honors achievements? in webcasting with 2nd Annual “RAIN Internet Radio Awards”?

“RAIN: Radio And Internet Newsletter” (www.kurthanson.com), a   leading trade publication for the Internet radio industry, announced today that it is accepting nominations for its second annual “RAIN Internet Radio Awards,” recognizing the achievements of the industry’s best Internet radio services.
Broadcasters and webcasters are invited to enter the competition for awards in  four categories:   Best Overall Online Radio Service, Best Streaming Broadcast Station, Best Single-Channel Webcaster, and Best Overall Digital Strategy.
“These are exciting times for Internet radio, and we want to recognize those stations and services whose work has driven the expansion of the industry,” said RAIN Publisher Kurt Hanson.
Last year’s winners were:
Best Overall Online Radio Service:     Pandora
Best Single-Channel Webcaster:   HardRadio
Best Streaming Broadcast Station : 1500AM ESPN/Twin Cities
Best Overall Digital Strategy : CBS Radio
The RAIN Internet Radio Awards are sponsored by Triton Digital, AccuRadio, and Audio4Cast.
Entries are now being accepted at https://www.kurthanson.com/awards/.
Winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges and will be announced at the “RAIN Summit Chicago” conference on Tuesday afternoon, September 13th,, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, immediately preceding the RAB/NAB Radio Show.
