Radio One Atlanta Finds Replacements for Emperor Searcy and Carol Blackmon

For the last few weeks we have been talking about the at Radio One, which lead to the departure of ATL radio legends Emperor Searcy and Carol Blackmon. We were wondering who would fill the shoes of Searcy and Blackmon and now we know. Well, at least for now Majic 107.5/97.5 and hip-hop station Hot 107.9 just moved around their current talent roster to fill the slots. Majic replaced Carol Blackmon’s mid-day role with Maria More from Hot 107.9. The station left the night shift open for now and without an on-air personality. Rene Miller used to hold down that time slot.

Hot 107.9, weekend and overnight jock Reec took over Maria More’s mid-day place and Mz Shyneka now has Emperor Searcy’s afternoon slot. Things are definitely shaking up in the ATL. We will keep you posted on any more station moves and/or announcements.
