Pitbull leaves WME for UTA


After 17 months with William Morris Endeavor (WME), rapper dropped that company and signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) to be represented worldwide.

The rapper and businessman had left creative Artist Agency (CAA) after 8 months to join WME, aiming to continue his journey in music and beyond. This included raiding his global profile as a motivational speaker.

Pitbull whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, is a well-known musician and business entrepreneur. He just completed his second co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias this year and wrapped up his two-year “Time of Our Lives” Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood earlier this year.

Pitbull has signed to the STX UglyDolls franchise. The franchise is based on the pop culture characters. UglyDolls will be an animated adventure film about the free spirited characters. The characters confront what is means to be different, and the struggle to be loved, but ultimately learns that being who you truly are is what matters the most.


The rapper will write and perform an original song for the film, which is on track to be released in 2019. He is also lending his voice for one of the ’s main characters.

“Globalization” is Pitbull’s channel on SiriusXM, hand has become one of the platform’s fastest growing channel since its launch in 2015. He serves as a brand ambassador for Bud Light, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and Dodge. The businessman also serves as an ambassador to the Sports Leadership Arts and Management (SLAM!) charter schools he helped established in Miami.
