Vidgo announces the addition of TV One, a cable network offering a broad range of real-life and entertainment-focused original programming, classic series, movies and music designed to entertain and inform a diverse audience of African American adult viewers. With a brand promise to represent the best in black culture and entertainment, TV One will be available to Vidgo viewers on one of the country’s newest Live TV streaming platforms.

“Vidgo is proud to welcome TV One to our programming family. Their extraordinary content and dedication to the unique perspective of the African-American community makes TV One a “must watch” for our new and existing customers.” said Scott Aiken, Vidgo Chief Marketing Officer. “We look forward to the continued growth of the Vidgo platform along-side the diverse and inspiring entertainment value provided by TV One.”

“Today’s savvy consumers are looking for great content when and where they want,” remarked Rori Peters, SVP, Content Distribution and Sales Strategy, Content Distribution and Marketing. “We, at TV One, are pleased to offer Vidgo customers great classics, new original series and specials, enhancing their lineup of diverse programming.”

Poised to take advantage of gaps in select markets that represent approximately 67 million retail consumers in the United States, Vidgo has built a pre-pay wireless business model to reach consumers with a no contracts, high quality, low-cost TV streaming service. Through API integrations into 35,000+ stores that sell Metro PCS, Cricket Wireless and TracFone, Vidgo has developed a disruptive pre-payment ecosystem for TV to accept cash paying customers.
