Music Business Empowerment Conference to Present Virtual Event — Doc Wynter and Kevin Liles Tapped for Keynotes

For the past five years participants have gathered in Atlanta, GA to attend the Music Business Empowerment Conference (MBEC), instead this year’s conference will be held virtually allowing more accessibility for music fans, emerging artists, producers, managers and those aspiring to work in the music industry. 
The theme is MBEC Presents: We Pressed Pause, Now It’s Time To Press Play. Registrants will hear from top industry experts from radio programming, record label promoters, marketers, entrepreneurs, artist managers, digital streaming platforms, producers and A&R executives.
The two-day conference will host three (3) panels, one (1) performance and keynote Q&A’s daily. Programming consists of radio and marketing panels along with performances by emerging artists. Confirmed participants are a mix of top executives from radio, streaming and marketing including:  Doc Wynter(iHeart’s EVP/President of Urban/Hip-Hop Programming Strategy) will close out the first date with a keynote address, Big Boy from The Neighborhood,  Hurricane Dave (KJLH Consultant of Programming, Marketing & Operations), Azim Rashid (SVP, Urban Radio Promotion), J-One (Pandora’s Director of Urban Music) and more.  Terri Thomas (Operations and Program Director for Radio One), and more. 300 Entertainment CEO and top-ranking music industry chief Kevin Liles will close the conference with a keynote Q&A with Radio One’s VP of Programming Colby Colb.
