Brooklyn based, Jamaican born recording artist Kris Yute has dropped his brand new song “Bando.” Listen to the reflective, vibey track. Kris not only performs the track, but also co-produced the track with Creative Titans members Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) and Bassto. “Bando” was mixed by Grammy-winning producer Dre Day (Koffee).

Says Kris, “Bando was inspired by the energy I felt on my last trip to the UK meeting with family right before the music started to gain traction. On this track I project my own struggle and my family struggles for prosperity. Made me realize that a big part of celebrating the highs of the present is reflecting on the lows of the past.”

Earlier this year, Kris released the track “I Did It” to instant fan response. Listen to the Caribbean influenced “I Did It” and watch the Lonewolf directed video, featuring collages created from vintage magazines.

The track also got a remix from Channel Tres as well as a remix visual from Lonewolf – listen HERE and watch.

“I Did It” continues to grow and find new fans. After releasing the song organically, “I Did It” started to take on a world of its own on TikTok. “I Did It” also garnered attention from Yute’s longtime friend, the actor Penn Badgley, who posted a video of the two of them dancing to it on his Instagram. Pigeons & Planes named Kris Yute one of February’s Best New Artists, boosting the continued trajectory of the artist.
