It’s an amazing milestone for iHeartMedia Boston’s KISS 108’s Matt Siegel from “Matty in the Morning.” Since the fall of 2018, Siegel has been hosting An Evening With Matty in The Morning at The Wilbur and has sold out his 9th show. “Matty in the Morning” has been a Boston market staple for the community since he first arrived at KISS 108.

Written, produced and as told by Matty, the theater show, which has sold over 10,000 tickets, includes stories from his legendary career, followed by a Q&A conversation with fans. During the theater show’s Q&A, audience members have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and ask him an array of questions about his morning show and his career journey as well as receive advice from Matty about anything going on in their lives.

“When Matt came to me asking if I thought this would work, I said ‘sure, why not give it a shot,’” said Andrew Mather of The Wilbur. “Knowing the power of his radio show, I figured it would have gained some traction. I don’t think anyone ever thought we would end up selling 10,000 tickets over the course of this run and it’s astonishing. I am crossing my fingers that he decides to do a 10th show.”
