that radio veteran Kevin Gardner is the new Program Director for Urban AC
Smooth R&B 105.7 (KRNB-FM).

Erickson commented, “we are so fortunate to have found someone who is experienced, instinctive, creative, and constantly growing stronger. Kevin’s character, leadership, and commitment to the community made him stand out from the competition, and an ideal fit to help move our company forward.”

Kevin Gardner said, “I am eager to be joining the service broadcasting family.  Michael Erickson, along with Hymen Childs and Geo Cook, have built two very strong radio brands in Dallas. I’m looking forward to working with them, the talented on-air staff, and all of the passionate people who contribute daily to making Smooth R&B 105.7 the #1 UAC in the market.  We will continue to win and have BIG fun doing it.  The way I see it, they’ve already painted most of the Mona Lisa, my job is just to give her some finishing highlights.”

Kevin Gardner has previously served as an Operations Manager, Program Director, Music Director, and On-Air Talent at top companies including Cumulus, Beasley,
One and Cox. He has a successful track record in many markets including Denver, Philadelphia, Orlando and Washington D.C.. Kevin will begin his new duties on Monday August 19th.
