KBLX to Hold a Gun Buyback Program this December

, California, Urban AC 102.9 KBLX and The Morning Dream Team are partnering with the San Mateo County Sherriff’s Office for a on December 15th in Redwood City, California.

The San Mateo County ’s Office, in conjunction with police departments from Redwood City and Belmont, will pay money for unwanted guns, no questions asked. Attendees will be given up to $100 for handguns or shotguns and up to $200 for an assault rifle. The gun buyback program is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the county offices at 1402 Maple St. in Redwood City.



According to Elroy Smith, Operations & Program Director of KBLX; Our goal is to make The Bay Area an even more safer place to live and to provide a secure  environment for the kids to play.  Therefore, this initiative is perfect for KBLX as we believe in protecting our community from senseless violence.
