Interscope Geffen A&M Records is the leader among all record labels in the top three categories of GRAMMY® nominations which were announced earlier this morning in a live streamed event. In the Album Of The Year category, Geffen’s Olivia Rodrigo, boygenius and Lana Del Rey each received nominations. For Record Of The Year, boygenius, The Darkroom’s Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo received nods. In the Song Of The Year category Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Olivia Rodrigo were nominated.

Along with the label’s partners at Verve Records, IGA is also celebrating Jon Batiste’s nomination in the top three categories as well. Including Gracie Abrams who received a nomination for Best New Artist, IGA is celebrating 13 nominations in the top four categories, more than any other label.

Interscope Geffen A&M Leads All Record Labels in Nominations in Top GRAMMY® Categories

IGA artists received GRAMMY® nominations across multiple genres and categories, featuring prominently in the pop category with The Darkroom’s Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Lana Del Rey all receiving nominations. boygenius and Lana Del Rey received nominations in the alternative category, while IGA partner LVRN garnered nominations in R&B categories with Summer Walker and 6LACK. boygenius, and The Rolling Stones and Olivia Rodrigo each received nominations in the rock categories, while Karol G who received a nomination in the Musica Urbana Album category. Always a strong contender in the visual categories, this year The Darkroom’s Billie Eilish was nominated in the music video category for “What Was I Made For?” and Kendrick Lamar received a nod for “Kendrick Lamar Live: The Big Steppers Tour,” which was filmed in Paris and aired on Amazon Prime. The Tupac docuseries “DEAR MAMA” received a nomination in the Music Film category as well. The label also received a nomination in the Musical Theater Album category for PARADE.

Altogether IGA and its associated labels including Verve are celebrating 38 GRAMMY® nominations overall. A complete list of nominations is below:
