Iheartmedia Riverside’s 99.1 Kggi And Water Of Life Community Church To Host Fifth Annual Cover

 iHeartMedia Riverside’s 99.1 KGGI, The IE’s Hottest Hit Music, and the non-denominational community church Water of Life in Fontana, CA announced today the fifth annual Cover the IE collection drive taking place on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. The drive will benefit the homeless community in need from the Inland Empire.

99.1 KGGI’s on-air personalities ODM, Evelyn Erives, Kid Jay and Garrison King will host a live broadcast from the church on November 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. sharing stories about the community and encouraging listeners to donate gently used business and casual clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as blankets and personal hygiene products for the less fortunate in the Inland Empire.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all staff and volunteers will wear masks and gloves throughout the duration of the event and donations can be made safely through contactless drop off.

Cover the IE is a community-based donation program designed to help the Inland Empire’s homeless and less fortunate improve their quality of life and restore the dignity for their families,” said Madylyn Tapia, Promotions Manager for 99.1 KGGI. “We look forward to bringing together our listeners for such an important cause.”
