iHeartMedia, Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI, No. 1 Station for Hip-Hop & R&B, V103, Today’s R&B and Throwbacks Station, and Inspiration 1390 AM, Music Of Power & Praise, announced today the inaugural Music in the Schools radiothon to benefit Scott Joplin Elementary School, a school located in the heart of Chicago’s South Side. Proceeds from the radiothon will go the school’s music programs, helping students build confidence to succeed in school and in life.
Sponsors of Music in the Schools radiothon include DebtStoppers Bankruptcy Law Firm and Robert J. Semrad Foundation.
Listeners are encouraged by on-air personalities from 107.5 WGCI, V103 and Inspiration 1390 to donate funds to the school at wgci.com, v103.com or inspiration1390.com. The event takes place on Thursday, November 9, 2017, 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
