He was a Record Promoter, Manager & Road Manager and Record Producer with Ed Townsend in Hollywood. He was also one of the Administrators in the play called, “Been There Done That” in Hollywood. Mr. Little’s last position was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Promotion for “Electric Land Records”
Ralph Little worked with many radio stations as a promotions person such as WESL, KATZ, Magic in St Louis. He had a great working relationship with Doc DJ N Stein, Jim Gates, Doug Edison, Gary Starr, Keith Adams and Lee Michaels. Various businesses like Regal Sports and many club owners. Ralph also worked with many artist all around the country doing promotion for: The O Jays, Eddie and Gerald Levert, The Dramatics, The Funkadelics, The Chi-Lites, The Manhattans, Harold Melvin’s & The Blue Notes, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls, Marvin Gaye, Gene Anderson, Barry White, The Jackson 5, Al Green, George Clinton, Ann Peebles, Sugar Hill, Game, Kurtis Blow, Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five, Run DMC, P Funk All Stars, Bootsy, Ray Goodman and Brown, James Brown and many, many more. The name Ralph “Big Boy” Little will be remembered coast to coast and border to border for years to come.
